Level I introduces learners to the beautiful world of music. Every lesson is augmented with emotional and social activities to develop a well-rounded persona. Believer Music IKP coaches have a passion to help chilidren with delayed cognitive learning abilities and unique behavioural challenges.

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

Thematic Devotion: THE STORY OF MANKIND: The Pre-Historic Age explores the early developments of humanity. Draw strength from the examples of early man as you witness the human spirit and will in action.

Rhythm: Learn universal rhythm patterns to apply in both personal & group settings

Chord Work: Basic scale and chord construction

Melodic Work: Learn to play melodic phrases by hearing

Duration: 11-week module; 60 minutes weekly

Song Application & Techniques: Play to familiar tunes from musicals.

What is IET?
Believer Music’s Integrative Education Track (IET) is a music-based enrichment module designed to bring out the best in your child. Our proprietary IET courses are unique and feature an exciting blend of musical, emotional, and social learning benefits.

Who is IET for?
IET is for parents with chilidren experiencing delayed cognitive learning abilities (Dyslexia) and unique behavioural challenges (ADHD)!This is an all-rounded enrichment for kids (ages 7 to 18 in regular public schools). IET enables participants to grow in their Academic, Social and Emotional aptitude as they learn how to read and play music on the Digital Keyboard.

What will my child learn in IET?
We begin with the Cajon for rhythmic skills. Rhythm is a fundamental building block in language development as the brain processes music similarly to language. Building rhythmic skills can actually improve verbal communication skills!

Next, we use the Digital Keyboard to teach other aspects of music, such as melody and note reading. Learning and playing catchy melodies helps to unlock your child’s inherent music potential, which will inspire them to improve and express themselves.

By the end of IET Level I, your child will be able to:
✔️ Read & play elementary music scores on the Digital Keyboard
✔️ Build a firm rhythmic foundation through fun exercises on the Cajon
✔️ Understand rhythm, pitch values and time signatures
✔️ Sing & play music at the same time
✔️ Gain self-confidence, emotional quotient and psychomotor skills

Are there learning materials / instruments provided?
Yes, learning materials will be provided on the first day of class. Instruments are also provided in our fully-equipped, state-of-the-art music studios. Our studios and training centres are fully-equipped with the latest generation active air purifiers which are proven to deactivate airborne coronaviruses. Your child's learning development and well-being are our utmost priority.

Do I need an instrument to attend IET?
Yes, a Digital Keyboard will be required for practice at home. Purchase our course-approved, recommended keyboard models at the lowest prices by week 4 of this 11-week course. You may purchase them in-store or on our online shop using a special discount code issued upon signing up.
